Why Epiq MD?

One Step Back, Two Steps Forward

Fixing a Broken System

Urgent Care
Mental Health Care
Prevention

As the world leader in almost every aspect, one would expect the U.S healthcare system to rank among the best; however, this could not be further from the truth. The U.S. healthcare system ranks only eleventh, being out-led by nations like Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan and Singapore. According to industry experts, analysts, doctors and patients, our healthcare system is broken.

We have built Epiq MD to bring Urgent Care, prevention, and mental health services to the overlooked underinsured or uninsured 80 million Americans. Indisputably, this group represents a large section of middle America, including young working-class adults in the services industry, entrepreneurs, middle income and even upper-middle-income Americans.

Per CNBC, an estimated 530,000 families turn to bankruptcy each year because of medical issues and bills

Epiq MD is founded by the very people shunned by the American healthcare system. People who understand what it’s like to be left behind by a broken system and who have worked towards finding a better way. As we expand, we believe in the programs and services we have put forward to spread our reach across the nation and support the 80 million Americans without adequate healthcare.

We believe that changing the healthcare system comes with many hurdles and can only occur in one of two ways: A mass sweeping of legislative, federal policy and regulatory changes, or with smart, innovative companies pushing new technologies who are willing to put in the leg work to stand up to an outdated system.

We are not a health insurance company; however; through our platform and business model, we can provide services that will significantly improve the quality of life for the 80 million Americans and immigrants in our great nation. These three areas are I. Urgent Care, II. Prevention and III. Mental Health & Wellness.

I. Urgent Care

Twenty-six million working adults refuse the insurance their workplace offers because they can’t afford it. Staying true to the idea that Epiq MD is for everyone, we have made our services affordable to anyone as we cost about the same or less as many of your monthly streaming subscriptions.

Epiq MD believes Urgent Care is a necessity as we treat most non-emergency medical conditions.

The average person would spend double to triple the amount to see a doctor in a traditional medical setting.

II. Mental Health Care

Part of the Epiq MD mantra is that everyone deserves to live an Epiq Life, both in body and mind. This means we have to put just as much emphasis on our mental health services as our physical care. So many people in this country lack access to therapists and or counselors, unaware that these services even exist.

Mental health awareness in America has seen a dramatic upswing in the last five years, but the harsh reality is that millions of Americans don’t know what the next step is in receiving mental health care. Epiq MD wants to reach these people and offer a service that cares and is anonymous, affordable and free of judgement.

Epiq MD is here to answer any mental health needs someone may have, ranging from mental health conditions to life coaching. Epiq MD wants to be your partner in mental health.

III. Prevention

Chronic disease is the leading cause of death and disability in America. It includes Heart Disease, Cancer, Chronic Lung Disease, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes and High Blood Pressure. Epiq MD knows that these numbers can be drastically shifted. We believe that our services and data-driven technology can do this by helping people mitigate and manage their chronic diseases and the risk factors associated with them.

Epiq MD hopes that at the very least, we can spread this information to the masses and simply make people more aware of the things they can do to potentially prevent or mitigate chronic disease. Limiting tobacco and alcohol use, improving nutrition and becoming more active are key lifestyle changes that could improve your quality of life and possibly help battle chronic disease.
